What is PUBG Mobile and Dragon Ball Super Crossover?

On August 30, Krafton Inc announced a new crossover event for PUBG-Mobile like the world of the popular shonen franchise, dragonballis coming to the free-to-play Battle Royale mobile game.

The announcement was shared on PUBG-Mobile official social media pages. Details about the crossover event are still being kept under wraps, but we know it will tie into the newest Dragon Ball Super film, Dragon Ball Super: Super heroes. The crossover event won’t take place until 2023, so expect the developers to reveal more details about the upcoming crossover in a few months.

PUBG-Mobile has already collaborated with other world famous anime and animation titles, including Esoteric, Neon Genesis Evangelionand Jujutsu Kaisen. With dragonballplayers will see the popular mobile game introduce the world and characters of the shonen franchise created by Akira Toriyama.

Fortnite recently released kicked off the major crossover event with dragonball, and it’s one of the biggest collaborations for Epic Games’ popular battle royale game. Players can buy dragonball-Themed cosmetics from the in-game store, including skins for Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus. There are also multiple Super Saiyan styles for Goku and Vegeta, and Epic Games are selling out dragonball– themed backblings, gliders, pickaxes and emotes.

It is likely that PUBG-Mobile will take a similar approach, but fans will have to wait until 2023 to find out what the crossover event will be.
