Toast improves mobile ordering, payment and digital menu solutions

Toast, an all-in-one digital point-of-sale platform, has enhanced its mobile ordering, payment and digital menu solutions.

The company has included Toast digital menus and mobile payments in its point-of-sale system and major updates include server-initiated ordering and a customizable digital menu per serving area, such as take-out window or terrace of the restaurant, according to a press release.

Restaurants using Toast Mobile Order and Pay typically see an average 10% increase in revenue, and the enhancements are included without any additional monthly fees or setup costs, according to the release.

“As restaurants navigate an unprecedented work environment, rising costs and changing customer preferences, digital menus, mobile ordering and payments are becoming more commonplace,” said Aman Narang, president and co-founder of Toast, in the press release. “With Toast’s new mobile catering solutions, everyone benefits. Restaurant owners have the opportunity to increase sales, retain customers and make their staff more efficient, employees can serve more tables and earn more tips, and customers don’t have to wait for checks or wait in line.”

“People love the fact that they can order on their own. It’s the fact that customers can choose how they want to place their orders – it gives them the option. ‘Where can I find my server? ‘ Oh. I’ll just use a QR code,” Dacha Beer Garden co-owner Ilya Alter said in the statement. “The beauty of Toast is that it’s all in one system; you don’t have to deal with integrations.”
