The mobile application for the Doge network could be launched
Timothy Stebbing, Director of the Dogecoin Foundation, recently tweeted about a new protocol being developed that aims to significantly increase the acceptance and use cases of the Dogecoin network.
Indeed, Stebbing responded with Twitter to Shafil Alam, a Dogecoin developer, who announced that he created Libdogecoin for iOS and Android mobile devices.
For the Dogecoin network, Libdogecoin will provide a number of opportunities to build additional mobile applications.
A single cryptocurrency, dogecoin, has seen a net gain of over 9% in the last 24 hours of trading volume, while the bulk of cryptocurrencies are currently down by a few tiny percentages.
The Dogecoin price is currently at $0.084, an increase of 22.6% from the seven-day trading price.
Dogecoin is currently at a level where no other cryptocurrency project is because Dogecoin seeks to bring unique use cases rather than smart contracts into its ecosystem, although we can’t say for sure if the tweet of the director of the Dogecoin foundation served as a catalyst to boost Doge the price.
The developers are reportedly working on an internet-less technology called RadioDoge that would allow users to send and receive Dogecoin without needing an online connection.
Dogecoin is a well-known piece of humor that gained huge popularity in the cryptocurrency market in 2020 thanks to Tesla CEO Elon Musk. Elon supports the Dogecoin project because he believes it will one day be the ideal cryptocurrency asset for use in payment systems.
