Tello Mobile Price Drop: Get Unlimited for $30
While major service providers like AT&T and Verizon are raising prices for cellphone service, some MVNOs, including Tello Mobile, are making their plans more affordable.
Recently, Tello announced price cuts and more data for a few of its most popular phone plans. This article will take a close look at the new pricing and features to help you decide whether or not you should consider switching to Tello.
Tello Mobile plans and new prices
Tello Mobile offers four different pre-configured prepaid phone plans that offer 1GB to 25GB of high-speed data. In addition to predefined plans, Tello Mobile allows customers to create their own plans by mixing and matching different amounts of data with minutes.
Recently, Tello Mobile announced upgraded data plans as well as price cuts for plans costing $19 or more per month. Fortunately, the new prices will be available for new and existing customers. So if you’re already with Tello Mobile, you can expect a lower bill soon!
Here are the newly upgraded data plans highlighted on Tello’s website:

All Tello Mobile plans come with unlimited texting.
The first plan is actually a predefined plan from Tello called “Smart”. Although the price has not changed for this plan, Tello has added an additional 1 GB of high-speed data, bringing the total amount of high-speed data to 5 GB for $19 per month.
The second plan is a custom plan that works well for people who need more than 5GB, but not quite 25GB. It used to cost $24 per month for 6GB of data, but now customers can enjoy 10 GB for the same price.
Finally, Tello’s unlimited plan, which includes 25GB of high-speed data before reduced speeds, has dropped by $10 per month. If you’re looking for an unlimited cellular plan, $29 per month is a great price.
Tello Mobile: the cheapest overall monthly plan
If you are unfamiliar with Tello Mobile, this is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) which works on the T-Mobile network.
At Clark.com, we found Tello Mobile to have the cheapest overall monthly mobile phone plan. The Economy plan, which includes 1GB of high-speed data plus unlimited texts and minutes, costs just $10 per month. Although this price has not changed, it is still the cheapest monthly phone plan available.
