REALM Metaverse Gaming will launch beta mobile app on June 21

  • REALM launches its mobile beta app on June 21.
  • At launch, users can create a custom microverse with a free developer tool.
  • Users will be able to purchase plots of land in REALM.

REALM, a mobile-first social impact metaverse factory, is launching its mobile beta app on Google Play Store and Apple App Store on June 21, 2022. People visiting NFT.NYC will be allowed to attend the launch event, which will include a exclusive preview of a new kind of gaming experience, created in partnership with visionary artist OseanWorlds.

In detail, the exhibition will be open from 2:00 a.m. to 8:20 p.m. on June 21, 2022, at 251 Elizabeth Street, NYC. Participants can participate in a scavenger hunt and win tokens and prizes from OseanWorlds physical clothing and accessory collections.

The REALM app will feature multiple areas, such as games, quotes, and galleries. Users will receive a free developer tool at launch, with which they can create a custom “microverse” in their style in minutes. Here, no coding experience is required.

The REALM platform allows users to buy plots of land in REALM, with 9360 plots already up for grabs. The land is organized into four concentric zones, with the inner circle having higher traffic and value than the outer circles.

The REALM token will serve several utilities for holders, such as access to premium content and earning rewards from project revenue. Another third of the revenue is reserved for sustainable development initiatives.

Significantly, through partnerships with projects such as Plasticbank, Eden Reforestation Projects, and Brokoli, players will be able to transform their digital nature into physical form. Each tree or coral reef used for decoration in the REALM metaverse will mean one more real tree planted, or one more coral reef preserved.

REALM Founder and CEO Matt Larby said:

We can’t wait to show the world what we’ve cooked up with REALM. The beta launch will be awesome for anyone who can attend NFT.NYC. For everyone else, the app will be live to experiment and create your own microverse. We want everyone, from everyday people to big brands, to build their own little experience in REALM.
