Ramssol to provide mobile app platform to motorcycle retailer

KUALA LUMPUR (September 22): Ramssol Group Bhd has entered into an agreement to provide mobile application platform services to a motorcycle retailer.

The group said its subsidiary, RAMS Solutions Sdn Bhd, will provide the platform called Rider Gate to GT-Max Motors (M) Sdn Bhd to enable the retailer to sell its products and services, as well as manage its operations and services. finance more efficiently.

This will include the sale and trade of new and used motorcycles; sale of automotive accessories and parts, as well as extended warranty and insurance; completion of motorcycle services; and providing technical training courses for mechanics.

RAMS will receive a commission from every sale made online or offline for GT-Max Motors, Ramssol said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia, adding that RAMS will also assist GT-Max Motors in maintaining the platform.

Ramssol’s Managing Director and CEO, Datuk Seri Cllement Tan Chee Seng, said RAMS has the skills and expertise to deliver a mobile app.

“This agreement will contribute to Ramssol’s growth and further strengthen our position as a provider of business-critical technology solutions in Malaysia. This is in line with our ultimate vision to continuously deliver value to our stakeholders,” he added in a statement.

Meanwhile, Ramssol has also announced that it will undertake a private placement of up to 10% of its total number of issued shares at a price to be determined later.

The proceeds of the placement will be used primarily for expenses related to the development of Rider Gate.

Ramssol’s share price closed up 1.14% at 44 sen on Thursday (September 22), with a market capitalization of RM98.13 million.
