The new Santorini-inspired map brings iconic elements of the famous Greek island to the new 8v8 Arena battles in PUBG MOBILE.
Today, PUBG MOBILE, one of the most popular mobile games in the world, is pleased to announce its partnership with the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) to release a brand new arena map for players based on the beautiful Greek island of Santorini.
Shaped by ancient volcanic eruptions, Santorini is known as the jewel in the crown of the Aegean Sea and remains the most popular Greek destination for travelers from around the world. The new partnership brings elements of the world famous scenic island city to PUBG MOBILE’s new “Santorini Arena Map”, including the island’s iconic blue rooftops, whitewashed houses, high and low streets in waterfall as well as stunning ocean views to explore and enjoy.
The Santorini Arena map offers a new 8v8 clan battle experience as players battle it out across the hills of the island. In 8v8 Team Deathmatch, players have infinite respawns and earn 1 point for each enemy they eliminate. The first team to reach the elimination goal within the time limit wins. In 8v8 Arena Training Mode, players are free to pick up any weapon at spawn without needing to set up a loadout. Players can access the new 8v8 map “Santorini” by selecting Unranked and Arena on the Mode Select screen.
