New Delhi: Tencent’s Honor of Kings became the world’s highest-grossing mobile game in February 2022 with around $225 million in player spend. Tencent’s PUBG Mobile was the world’s second highest earning mobile game in February 2022 with $205.2 million in gross revenue. Around 64.2% of PUBG Mobile’s revenue came from China, where it was localized as Game For Peace, followed by 7.7% from the United States. The next highest-grossing game was miHoYo’s Genshin Impact, followed by King’s Candy Crush Saga and Roblox by Roblox Corporation. The global mobile games market generated approximately $6.6 billion from player spending on the App Store and Google Play in February 2022, representing a 7.6% year-over-year decline . The number one market for global revenue in February 2022 was the United States, which generated $1.9 billion, or 28.6% of total player spending worldwide.
