Gundam Evolution launched on PC on September 21, 2022, with a console launch at a later date. Team FPS is free to play and comes with several mobile suits available for free, and more that can be unlocked later.
The developers have confirmed that there will be more Mobile Suits released as the game goes on. At launch, 12 Mobile Suits are available and 4 more can be purchased via EVO Coins (Real Money Currency ) or Capital (free currency). Here’s what we know about them so far.
Gundam Evolution has many popular mobile suits at launch
One of the great things about Gundam Evolution is that mobile suits aren’t specifically divided into classes. That might change in the future, but at launch it does. Many mobile suits can fulfill a number of traditional roles in a Hero Shooter squad – tanking, healing, sniping, and DPS.
The tutorial will guide the player through the game as Pale Rider, who is a medium difficulty mobile suit armed with a Bullpup machine gun. It also has an EMP grenade to slow down enemies and a repair mod to heal allies in the circle.
On the other hand, the Methuss of Zeta Gundam has a repair cable which attaches to an ally and heals it. They can also drop a turret for extra damage and use the energy cable to reduce an ally’s incoming damage, while improving that unit’s outgoing damage. It deals solid mid-range damage, while being incredibly useful as a healer.
Here are all the mobile suits players can start with. Luckily, players have access to a wide assortment of playstyles without having to spend any money.

Gundam Evolution also offers another option to immediately unlock these four mobile suits, for 4,000 EVO coins. This is known as the “DX Edition” of Gundam Evolution and unlocks all four units as well as a number of legendary skins.
Players will receive a Legendary Skin, a Legendary Weapon Skin, and the “Shinobi Haro” Legendary Weapon Charm, which can be equipped by all mobile suits. These bundle skins cannot be unlocked anywhere else.
Gundam Evolution will also have other Mobile Suits to unlock in the future, and while it’s unclear if bundles like the DX Edition will be available, it immediately unlocks the four recently added Mobile Suits. It should be noted that EVO parts cannot be purchased before September 23, 2022.
Gundam action is now available on PC. It will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on December 1, 2022.
