Gilat Wins Over $7 Million Order from Tier 1 Mobile Network Operator in APAC for 4G Cellular Backhaul Network Expansion

(Nasdaq: GILT, TASE: GILT), a global leader in satellite networking technology, solutions and services, today announced that it has received an order in excess of $7 million from a Tier 1 mobile network in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for the expansion of the 4G cellular backhaul network.

Gilat’s SkyEdge II-c Capricorn VSATs will be used for satellite cellular backhaul, further propelling the growth of the mobile operator’s 4G/LTE network in rural areas without fiber access.
