Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile Gets August 2022 Release Date In Japan
At Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile pre-release livestream, as promised, they showed more gameplay and finally revealed its release date. Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile will first be released in Japan on August 4, 2022.
The livestream showcased more of the gameplay, confirming it was a strategy RPG. Each character appears to have 3 skills and an ultimate skill, and will have a certain range of tiles they can move on. The leveling system appears to have three main nodes to upgrade, while characters should be able to equip items called “memories” to further boost their stats. As you’d expect, these can be capped to increase their max level.
Gacha was also shown, with the characters arriving on a train following your “phone call”. From the livestream, it takes at least 10 coins to make a 10-pull, although it’s unclear whether these are “tickets” or paid change. The characters all have Live2D when they first appear, even the R ones, so the gacha at least looks very appealing.
The game has also since reached 1 million pre-registrations. If they’ll be adding even more stretch goals, we should find out shortly, as the launch date is pretty close now. Hopefully the game will make its way into the world sooner rather than later, so stay tuned for that.
