Ella Condo Truck has become the first mobile presentation center for new condos in Canada

Conceptualized by Icon Marketing’s Crystal Hung, the Ella Condo Truck packed the showcase center for her Ella condominium project in East Vancouver into a truck that could drive to a potential buyer’s house.

Vancouver, Canada – Icon Marketing, an innovative Canadian-based real estate marketing firm, worked with local developers to pioneer the concept of a mobile condo sales office called the Ella Condo Truck that would drive to a potential buyer’s home and various centers across Vancouver. The innovative strategy was the first of its kind in Canada and turned heads with its strong resemblance to street trucks, except it was selling homes. What seemed like an unusual idea at first turned into a wonderful opportunity to connect intimately with potential clients and the community. The concept became an instant hit with the local community who turned out in large numbers to check it out.

The idea for a condo sales truck was inspired by the food trucks and ice cream trucks we often see all around us. The Ella Condo truck is the brainchild of Crystal Hung, who wanted to create something offbeat to boost sales of the Ella project. The truck was purchased and designed by Icon and in conjunction with the developer, the truck was brought to Vancouver from Toronto. The old ice cream truck went straight to the store for inspection, restoration and re-design.

After a 2-week transformation involving several suppliers, it was finally unveiled as the project’s mobile presentation center during a press conference. The Ella Condo Truck included images of the condominiums, a scale model of the condominium building, residential layouts and specifications.

The Ella Condo truck has attracted a lot of attention from potential buyers and the media. Moving from brokerage to brokerage, the Truck traveled and made its way through Vancouver to meet and greet potential clients in a fun, original and memorable way.
